Whether you need practical tips or a sympathetic ear, sometimes it's best to talk to someone you don't already have a close relationship with. You might be surprised by the range of support groups available.
There are many ways to find a support group:
- Online search
- Local yellow pages, under "Senior Citizens"
- Hospitals and care facilities
- Churches and other religious groups
- Your employer's HR department
