Safety
Keeping the home uncluttered and simple is the first step in reducing the risk of injury. See that cords are out of the flow of traffic. Check rugs and mats for slippage. Place a phone within reach in the event of a fall.
Some equipment that will reduce the risk of fall injuries:
- Grab bars, safety rails, and bed rails
- Lift chairs
- Non-slip mats
- Shower seats
