Elder Abuse
Elder abuse takes many forms, from physical threats to financial exploitation. Sadly, family members are the most common culprits. Talk to your loved one about the care he or she is receiving, and watch for warning signs.
Common signs of abuse:
- Unexplained bruises or abrasions
- Bedsores and other unattended medical needs
- Sudden financial changes
- More frequent arguments or tense interactions
